Robin Wood is Chief Executive of Victoria College of Music and Drama, London, and as such is ultimately responsible for the administration of Victoria College Examinations.

However, he is by no means an office-based bureaucrat. He is a fully qualified examiner in both Music subjects and Speech and Drama, who makes a point of familiarizing himself with the local arrangements at virtually every VCM Local Examination Centre in order that he can confidently brief visiting examiners before they set out.

He is also familiar with the stresses and strains of administering a local centre as he has run a number of them personally in various parts of the British Isles.

He personally answers phone calls to the College and is known for being accessible for help and advice at short notice.

Uniquely, he has sight of every single examination report form and carries out checks to ensure that VCM exam results are fair, no matter where in the world they are taken.
